A Quranic Party for Pakistan- A Giant Leap for Mankind
Pakistan Resolution Day, 23 March is the most remembered day in Pakistan’s history. 71 years ago on 23 March,1940 thousands of Muslims from all over sub-continent gathered in Lahore. They had one dream, one vision and one mission…creation of Pakistan under the able leadership of Jinnah. Pakistan Day is a day of remembrance, a day of great pleasure but it cannot be complete without the true spirit of patriotism and love for our homeland. I WISH YOU A VERY HAPPY 23rd MARCH.
In the same spirit I am pleased to announce today, the launching of a new political movement in Pakistan.
Janat e Pakistan is a Pakistan based Political Party which promises to fulfill Allah’s promise to man.
As convener of Janat e Pakistan, I am leading the team of Rashidoon who are in the process of finalizing our draft MANIFESTO and CONSTITUTION.
We have drafted a FIVE POINT MANIFESTO for our Party which shall be publicized on this website in a few days. We have also designed a Party Flag. We shall start a web based process of Party Membership Enrollment in the near future.
Based on the regulations of the Election Commission of Pakistan, NOTIFICATION Islamabad, the 23rd July, 2002, S.R.O. 456(I)/2002, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 19 of the Political Parties Order, 2002 (Chief Executive’s Order No.18 of 2002), the Election Commission, has made the rules, called the Political Parties Rules, 2002. We are required by law of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to submit the following essentials:
• “Party Leader name” means the head of a political party duly elected in accordance with the constitution of the political party and the provisions of the Order by whatever name designated. Political parties are required to provide printed copy of their constitution.
• Every political party within ten days of its formation shall provide to the Election Commission a printed copy of its constitution along with a certificate duly attested by the Party Leader that its constitution is in conformity with the requirements of the Order.
• Every political party shall maintain its accounts indicating its income and expenditure, sources of funds, assets and liabilities and shall, within sixty days from the close of each financial year (July—June), submit to the Election Commission a consolidated statement of accounts of the party audited by a Chartered Accountant, accompanied by a certificate, duly signed by the Party Leader to the effect that no funds from any source prohibited under the Order were received by the party and that the statement contains an accurate financial position of the party.
After due completion of above formalities, we shall register this Party with the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Dear Brothers/Sisters,
I too was surprised to see the announcement of the formation of a new political party by our “Quranist” brothers so fast. I thought it would take time to discuss and explore all ideas. Also, I have difficulty with the name. It gives the impression that the new party is some how affiliated with Mullahs. In fact, most of us do not believe in Mullahs’ fictitious “Janat”, which is located somewhere in the cosmos, and it belongs to only those who “worship” and “praise” Allah day and night but do nothing for the betterment or progress of the humanity. I would have suggested a simple name that reflects our real aims or goals for Pakistan. One example is Taameer Pakistan. We would be working day and night to rebuild our country and steer it to the path of peace, protection, prosperity, and progress.
The most successful political party in the “Islamic” world today is Turkey’s Justice and Development Party (better known as AK Party). Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Abdullah Gul formed AKP after they left Virtue Party headed by Najam Uddin Erbakan, as its leadership was rigid and would not modify its position to pacify the military leadership. (The same is the case with Jamaat Islami. Its leadership refuses to change.) Previously, Virtue Party had used the names Welfare Party and Felicity Party. Please notice how simple all these names sound. Before forming the new party Erdogan and Abdullah Gul consulted with many prominent but disgruntled members of other political parties. Of course they all broke away from their old parties and joined the new AKP. Hence, we must study and learn from successful parties like AKP.
We plan to go forward, not backward. Hence, we should avoid medieval names or terms. We cannot go back to Khilafat times or bring Hazrat Omar back to guide us. We are living in 21st century and should follow the current trends and norms.
Nevertheless, the party has been formed. We should welcome it and congratulate Brother Aurangzaib for accepting the task of leading the new party. May God Almighty reinforce our Brother with wisdom, vision, and energy (strength) as well as protect him against all enemies!

Dear Friends,
I second Brother Damon. While Brother Aurangzaib is right about the need for a political party that aims to make and enforce laws, which conform to Quranic decrees, and thus eradicate social ills and make Pakistan a paradise for all its residents, we must study the realities on the ground first. Next, we must develop strategies to overcome the obstacles. Last, we must move forward in steps and change our strategies whenever deemed necessary. Currently, Mullahs wield so much power that even ruling parties that came to power as a result of public mandate are afraid of them. How do we overcome this challenge? How will we protect our leaders and workers from the wrath of Mullahs?
I would suggest starting our movement from our own homes. Then, we can move it to neighbors, communities, villages, and towns gradually. We should criticize and attack evils, not the people. We should invite all people regardless of their religious or political affiliation to join us in combating the social ills. We can encourage people to form many different volunteer organizations, each focused on a specific task. For example, one organization can work on stopping violence against women and children. Our Brothers and Sisters working for these various organizations will gain valuable experience as well as public trust and some of them may emerge as leaders. Hopefully, these organizations will become the backbone of the new political party.
If I stop my contributions to some organizations in Pakistan, the money would be sufficient to start a mini project in our village. My aim is to have a small library, computer center, and tutorial services for village children. Smart children in the village will be asked to tutor the less fortunate. We can reward these volunteers by offering scholarships for colleges. If all goes well, I plan to spend 1-2 months in the village every year and help children improve their reading and writing skills, both in Urdu and English. Also, I can teach them computer skills, such as building and repairing computers, doing research on the Internet, and learning various computer programs. My first choice for the library and center would be the Masjid. I am aware it would not be easy to convince the villagers, as everyone there believes Masjid is for worship only. The second choice is our old family home. Hopefully, I will be able to carry out this mini project on my own.
By relieving people of their pains through welfare work, we can gain their trust. We do not need to be in power to do welfare work or combat social ills. At the same time we must continue conveying the True Message of the Quran to the masses. People need to realize that understanding the Message of the Quran and applying it to our lives is obligatory.
Last, there are some socials ills and cruel practices that we must start fighting right away. We do not need resources to do so. All we need is a good strategy and will power. One example is corporal punishments in Pakistani schools. The civilized countries banned CP a long time ago. Why is it still in use in Pakistan? In many instances victims died or got severely injured as a result of CP. Moreover, CP demeans a student and destroys his/her self-esteem. What kind of future generations are we producing through CP? I suggest we all join together to stop this cruel practice, i.e. CP, in the public and private schools in Pakistan.

Fort of Islam pakistan and another countries have been wracked by differnce in interpretations of the shariah and verified hadith,Which have left their people confused,divided and feuding Muslims, We to re-examine the Islam we practice.We have no need to reinvent it(ISLAM)when facing the new challenge of today.But we must certainly correct the wrong interpretations of Islam if we are to oercome successfully the threats and humiliation that we face.The fundamentals of Islam cannot be changed,Otherwise we will be changing the message and the teaching of Islam as brought by the our beloved Prophet muhammad sallah ho illaehe wassalam.All muslims can do,Is to determine whether the Islam of today has deviated due to the interpretation of the fundamentals in order to suit changing circumstances.Islam changed the feuding Arab tribes into aunited highly organized and sophisticated people who built a great civilization which lasted for hunderds years.But today,The folowers,The Muslims are no longer the great people they were jn early years of islam.The great Muslim civilization has almost disappeard,and the Muslim today looked down upon,oppressed
and humiliated,their religion said to be a terrorist creed,The prophet of Islam brought glad tidings to humanity.The prophet did not create a dynesty.He left it to his followers to choose from among themselves aleader, a khalifah.it was only later that the Muslim dynasties were set up.one can say that a system where the leader is the chosen by an electorate,regardless of his antecedents,is much more islamic then otherwise.having been elected,a leader must care for his people,for the ummah.And caring means ensuring his people will have food,clothing,and shelter,and be secured from domestic and foreign aggression.it is eminently possible to be islamic even if a modern administration or system by rule of law.The problem is that Muslims tend to emphasize and venerate the form rather then the substance in the practice of everything.Even in modernization they look for the form.Thus clothing,which is meant to cover the body,is translated as the wearing of the arab dress,and other form of dress———including the now universal dresses —–are regarded as being un islamic.reading to acquire knowledge is interpreted as reading to islamic religious knowledge only. defence of the ummah is interpreted as veneration of the ancient weapons of war.This over-emphasis on ritual,procedure and form,as opposed to substance,has decimated the advancement of the muslims in science and technology.in health,in education, in engineering,in agriculture and so on.For from regarding science,mathematics,technology and the rest as not as good as the study of islamic theology,they should be vigorously studied.The progress and defence of the ummah will require political stability and economic wealth.the early muslims had a well-rounded education and knowledge but the later muslims tend to concentrate on religious knoledge only.with the result that muslim scholers gained a powerful role in the community,being knowledgeable only in religion,and they downgraded other fields of learning.this has contributed to the muslim losing edge in field of mathematics,astronomy and medicine.not surprisingly,Muslim werte left behind and missed the industriel revolution completely.Today muslim cannot even defend themselves and have to rely on arm from others.wakeup.Islam means peace.We only fight against those who attack us,be the muslim or non -muslims.we must play role and respond positivly,we are being un fairly labeled as terrorists.However,the predicament of the muslims is entirely of thier on making.We have neglected and misinterpreted the teaching of .when we should be acquiring knowledge which can help us ward off the attacks against us,we reject such knowledge.We rely merely on praying to Allah,When Allah has said in Qur’an that we have to help ourselves first before he will help us.Islam does not need re invention Islam is perfect and is for all times.we have a Qur’an and this is true message to implement rules in the light of wisdom and knowledge.Dr,Assarulislam appriciate your efferts to brought thisNOORFUL message in this modern era, ummah definetly needs leader ship like you for the implememtation of q’uranic rules and devel0pment of islamic ummah.

Ive read some books written by Aurangzeb Yousufzai n i really appreciate all his noble wrk n m really glad to knw hes leading this movemnt, time has honestly come to rebuild ths country otherwise we r going to suffer for a long time……..
