It’s a very bold statement of facts, Sir. You have courageously pinpointed the real culprits behind our ugly political scenario. We do have a Generals’ Super Mafia just as we have subordinate Mafias in every sector of our political, social and economic lives. Plunder of national resources and ultra luxurious living has rendered them impotent. Very true that they have lost all the battles they fought, losing half of their homeland, Kashmir, Siachin, Kargill. Still they have the audacity to rule the land by sword and dictate their terms to rapacious politicians. While the land is full of sufferings and misery, they have, in the very recent past, more than doubled their salaries unilaterally and enjoy still more perks and indulge in all kinds of corruption. Time is ripe to work for a massive people’s movement to uproot the prevalent tyrannical system and the worst exploitation of our history. We have another, umpteenth rise in fuel prices announced to take effect tomorrow, which will bring in its wake still another storm of rising prices of all the food and consumer items. CNG, the free gift of nature from our land, will now sell for 75 Rupees a litre just to pay for the royal living of our Generals and the ruling mafia. They had raised its price exorbitantly just about a fortnight ago.
