‘Are you afraid of Sunnah Worshipers that have doomed 1.5 Billion Muslims?’ —Asarulislam

Dr. Martin Luther King

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“I say to you this morning, that if you have never found something so dear  and precious to you that you will die for it, then you aren’t fit to live. You may be 38 years old, as I happen to be, and one day, some great opportunity stands before you and calls upon you to stand up for some great principle, some great issue, some great cause. And if you refuse to do it because you are afraid. You refuse to do it because you want to live longer. You’re afraid that you will lose your job, or you are afraid that you will be criticized or that you will lose your popularity, or you’re afraid that somebody will stab you or shoot you or bomb your house. So you refuse to take the stand. Well you may go on and live until you are ninety, but you are just as dead at 38 as you would be at ninety. And the cessation of breathing in your life is but the belated announcement of an earlier death of the spirit.

You died when you refused to stand up for right.

You died when you refused to stand up for truth.

You died when you refused to stand up for justice.”

    Respected brother Aurangzaib,
    In my humble opinion, the most effective and swift route is Qur’anic education of the masses. We do not expect everyone to be a scholar. The idea is to convey about 12 basic Principles of the Glorious Book. They would get rid of ritualism, superstitions, SHIRK, false beliefs and blind following of the ancestors and Mullahs.

    Salaam;
    Brother aurangzaib, perhaps you misunderstood what I said. I am not ignoring 22:41 at all. In fact my point is that the situation is too critical and we cannot afford to wait for another decade. Political movement is a lengthy process and we don’t have that much of time left now.
    I am talking about the ground realities where the nation is on the brink of disaster. Masses are ignorant and under a deep influence of Mullah’s Islam. They still believe in myths dogmas and rituals and they still think Allah will solve their problems through prayers. No one believe in the concept of mission and strive. No one knows anything about rights of freedom and no one believes in struggle. What masses are you talking about? Height of Injustice, corruption and oppression and extremism. Lack or tolerance is at it’s peak. What are can you expect from these people?
    Our already saturated economy is getting more diluted in form of printed money being injected by Central bank at the rate of 2.5 billion per month. How long do you think it can survive?
    Perhaps a long term plan in form of political struggle will not prove much effective under these circumstances.
    No brother, I am not ignoring “TAMAKKAN FIL ARDH ” rather I am trying to provide an alternate suggestion which suits the current situation. (2:185)
    شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَٰتٍ
    مِّنَ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْفُرْقَانِ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ ٱلشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ
    وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ يُرِيدُ
    ٱللَّهُ بِكُمُ ٱلْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ ٱلْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُو۟ا ٱلْعِدَّةَ
    وَلِتُكَبِّرُو۟ا ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
    Translate this verse in it’s true perspective and tell me where I am wrong!

    Brother Shabbir.A M.D,
    There is no Fabrication in sunni faith as regard Pillars of islam. Once ur muslim Should believe and follow Quranic guidance and u find every thing there. For instant. Read surah Al-Asar, there is great message in it . Our problem is ,Allah (S.W.T) commanded us to explore and conqure what is beneath earth and above the skies, But we have failed to conqure the heart of fellow Muslim. Non Muslims have obeyed that command. May Allah give us guidance and wisdome.

    @Shabbir Ahmed, M.D. – Respected brothers, Dr. Shabbir, Junaid, Shahzad Raja,
    Your comments are valuable to me. I understand their essence. Perhaps I would humbly redraw your deeper attention to this sentence of mine, which is the last sentence of that message :-

    “We think it’s a lengthy process. We don’t see 63 years wasted in non-political exercises in futility.”

    Haven’t we tried, friends, what all of us still continue to suggest and propose? …….Haven’t we failed up to this moment? …….Would you say “No”, or “Yes” ? ………………..It is high time friends we gave a try to a political platform that we have been hitherto shy of. “Unfortunately”, we Quranics are sort of intellectuals, crusaders of pen and paper. We can only disseminate philosophy. We disseminate philosophy to a nation of 85% illiterates, who would never understand. It is only the Slogans of Guaranteed Bread & Butter & Freedom with Supremacy of Law ……that they would understand and would quickly gather around you.

    We are ambivalent and un-decisive and we lack dynamism. We pass rulings against evident divine injunctions because we are the laziest lot among our compatriots. Invitation to field work is not appealing to us. Such an easy going community, that is not even united, can never cause an upheaval or infuse the spirit of a revolution among humanity.

    I beg your pardon for being so straightforward and blunt. While I respect you all, I can give you my word that in another 30 years or more, we will still be seen stuck in time. Unless of course we take lesson from our past and adopt a live and vibrant working strategy.

    Best regards.

    Salaam;

    Brother aurangzaib, Ok lets agree on the point that we need a political movement. Now what could be the first step? Are you willing to leave the pen, paper and step out? If yes then, how will you approach people? What will you tell them? Where are the resources? How will you mobilize the masses?
    With due apologies, Let me tell you that your Slogans of “Guaranteed Bread & Butter & Freedom with Supremacy of Law” is the most misused and mistrusted dialog of the corrupt politicians since last 60 years. Who is going to believe you?
    In my opinion, it is imperative that we should try and educate people in order to create awareness in the society and then let these people judge and decide on their own.

    Once again you didn’t get my point at all.

    Let me explain (2:185) in this regard;
    SHAHAR O RAMADAN is the situation of tyranny, oppression, chaos, bloodshed or war. We have been instructed that whoever witness this situation, should refrain from it and restrain others. We have been asked to take practical steps in terms of reformation of the society. However there are some people who are not yet ready to fight the dark forces forces of evil. These people cannot take responsibility for reformation of society unless they gain “sufficient knowledge” and develop their capabilities.
    They need to acquire knowledge and develop their capabilities first, so that they can establish supremacy of Allah and implement system of peace with the help of AL FURQAN (The criteria of right and wrong).

    You see? acquiring “sufficient knowledge” and developing “capabilities” first!

    We need to provide knowledge of Quran to the people. We need to create awareness among the masses coz only capable individuals can reform the society.
    We have been asked to restrain people until they are capable (2:185) but I am sorry to say that you are talking about dragging them to the war totally unprepared.

    Dear Sir, With due apologies I beg to state that Pakistan today is full of extremism, intolerance and lawlessness. One who sticks his head fearlessly, will soon get killed in the name of Blasphemy by some Mumtaz Qadri or He may get blown away by a suicide bomber.

    I think we need a more careful and smart approach towards reformation of today’s society.

  7. aurangzaib says:

    @aurangzaib – Bravo Dr. Islam, Sir.
    That’s exactly what I am humbly trying to tell my valued friends.

    God bless you.

    Aurangzaib has already pointed out :

    ” We don’t see 63 years wasted in non-political exercises in futility.

    Go on trying my dear friend. You and respected Brother Dr. Shabbir are free to continue playing a teacher’s very comfortable role. In my humble opinion, we need the role of “LEADERS” – not lazy teachers any more – and in this strategy, I stand firmly with Dr. Asarulislam. Mark my words below; and may you live long enough to see the futility of your present easy-going methodology :-

    “While I respect you all, I can give you my word that in another 30 years or more, we will still be seen stuck in time. Unless of course we take lesson from our past and adopt a live and vibrant working strategy.”

    And my last words on this topic are:
    Dissemination of an ideology creates just a sizable elite group. Common folks in the streets cannot be made ideologists. That Group has already been cast and moulded, and it exists scattered all over the globe, and in our homeland. Then out of that Elite group, we choose Leaders of Men. Those who devote their lives and their wealth to the cause of Supremacy of that ideology. They stand up against the tyrants of the time and unleash an untiring struggle to topple them with the help of the masses. For that, they have to mobilize the masses on grass roots level. And THAT IS DONE ONLY THROUGH A LEGITIMATE POLITICAL PLATFORM IN THE MODERN TIMES. It’s time for that phase to start NOW, not for any more teaching.

    God bless you.

    I would really appreciate if you could point out few of these elites who are well aware of True Islamic principles and who posses proper knowledge of constitution of Quran. If you could somehow show me 20 or 25 elites having above mentioned qualities, I’ll be more than convinced that this is the ideal time to start or to join a political movement.
    Give me the names and you can count me in anytime 🙂

    **(Go on trying my dear friend. You and respected Brother Dr. Shabbir are free to continue playing a teacher’s very comfortable role. In my humble opinion, we need the role of “LEADERS” – not lazy teachers any more ) by aurangzaib

    Tell me one thing brother, are you not doing the same thing? In what category are you counting yourself? Are you a teacher or a political activist? If you are not a “LAZY TEACHER” then give me the name and manifesto of your political party and tell me what you have achieved so far? How long is your political struggle going on and who is leading your party? How many elites are supporting your political movement?

    Just to let you know that if there is no such political party and there is no such movement going on, then you should count yourself in the list of the so called “Lazy teachers”.
    You cannot claim a different status without showing significant efforts.
