‘Are you afraid of Sunnah Worshipers that have doomed 1.5 Billion Muslims?’ —Asarulislam

Dr. Martin Luther King

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“I say to you this morning, that if you have never found something so dear  and precious to you that you will die for it, then you aren’t fit to live. You may be 38 years old, as I happen to be, and one day, some great opportunity stands before you and calls upon you to stand up for some great principle, some great issue, some great cause. And if you refuse to do it because you are afraid. You refuse to do it because you want to live longer. You’re afraid that you will lose your job, or you are afraid that you will be criticized or that you will lose your popularity, or you’re afraid that somebody will stab you or shoot you or bomb your house. So you refuse to take the stand. Well you may go on and live until you are ninety, but you are just as dead at 38 as you would be at ninety. And the cessation of breathing in your life is but the belated announcement of an earlier death of the spirit.

You died when you refused to stand up for right.

You died when you refused to stand up for truth.

You died when you refused to stand up for justice.”

Dr. Martin Luther King

    @Junaid – Dear Brother Junaid,

    As I already posted, I have contributed my last words on this topic.

    Moreover, I usually withdraw from a discussion if it starts breaching the boundaries of self respect and turns into a personal confrontation. Because respect for humanity is Quranists’ foremost consideration.

    I would be happy to talk further with Dr. Asarulislam on this very important topic, as he is looking for 100 LEADERS from the Quranists and I can suggest to him many names of prospective hard core leaders from our homeland.

    God bless you.

    @aurangzaib – Nice debate should be constructive and among community we “claim” to represent (Quranic) we should focus our energies to find out solution rather than indulging ourselves into useless debates. Its better for us to ask our seniors like Dr. Asarulislam and Dr. Shabbir to suggest us how we could improve our lot to become productive to out mission which is change hopefully positive :-). Thanks
    Regards,
    Shahzad Ahmad
    ASARULISLAM’S COMMENT: The three golden rules are : 1) Criticize in private and support in public.
    2) Be supportive to one another for the cause of Truth, Equality and Justice, and encourage one another to be persevering.وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ
    3) Lead, follow or get out of the way.
    There is a lot of work to be done. Let us prepare ourselves for the First Annual Convention of Pioneers of the New Islamic State. We aim to build it like USA, on the principle of Liberty. (Taqwa)

  3. To all my Senior and Junior Brothers (& Sisters) with love and respect,

    Kindly emphasize in your hearts JIHADAN KABEERA by means of this Qur’an.
    25:52 So, (O Prophet) disregard the likes and dislikes of the rejecters, but strive hard against them by means of this (Qur’an), with utmost striving. [Jihadan Kabeera = The Great Jihad by means of the Qur’an]

    It is amazing to note that Allah has not designated even ‘qitaal fi sabeelillah’ (fighting in the cause of Allah) as ‘Jihaadan Kabeera’!

    That is what we must be up to – Jihad by means of the Qur’an.

    May Allah bless you all, foremost, our honored Torch-bearer Dr. Asar Syed.

    Dear Raja Saheb,
    Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I fully agree with the three Golden Rules.
    I have sincerely requested our CANNON OF THE QURAN, Dr. Syed Saheb, to devise the fundamental approach. We will be there to help him in any form including valuable suggestions.
    I will be happy to be one of his soldiers 🙂

    Dear brother Aurangzeb,
    You said, “Moreover, I usually withdraw from a discussion if it starts breaching the boundaries of self respect and turns into a personal confrontation.”
    Keep up that quality since no one wins an argument.
    I wish you best with your plans in Pakistan.
    Regards,

    I am trying to understand when and how this discussion breached the boundaries of self respect.

    Perhaps this was the initiation;

    ** (You and respected Brother Dr. Shabbir are free to continue playing a teacher’s very comfortable role. In my humble opinion, we need the role of “LEADERS” – not lazy teachers any more) by aurangzaib

    Don’t you think calling someone “Lazy teacher” is a kind of personal confrontation? Is this your respect for humanity?
    I am sorry to say but I had a lot of respect for you and your opinions but after seeing such kind of attitude, it’s all gone!
    I know something was going on between you and another participant of this forum and I saw it happening somewhere. But this doesn’t mean you should start considering everyone else as a part of this personal confrontation.
    Sorry but I am not a part of all this and I am sure about it. I have my own views and I do believe in a thought process and debate rather than going into conflicts or confrontation.

    **(I would be happy to talk further with Dr. Asarulislam on this very important topic, as he is looking for 100 LEADERS from the Quranists and I can suggest to him many names of prospective hard core leaders from our homeland.) by aurangzaib

    Perhaps this was exactly my question to you and you didn’t bother to answer!
    Why only Dr. Asrulislam? and Why can’t you share few of these names here in reply to my last question? You can’t even participate in a discussion (in a peaceful manner) how could you expect to run a political movement?

    You have given me the title of “Lazy teacher” (according to your so called respect for humanity) but you didn’t answered my question regarding what you have done so far and why you don’t think you are a part of this “Lazy teacher group”. Where is your political party? Where is the manifesto? What have you done so far in terms of political activities?

    Frankly speaking, I can see a “Mullah” inside you who initiates a situation and then backs off using lame excuses and trying to create division among people!

  7. Junaid says:

    Salaam;

    I would like to mention that I have been wasting my time trying to discuss SHAHR O RAMADAN and concept of SAUM with brother aurangzaib who despite using the term “Quranist” for himself seems totally uninterested in discussing a quranic term in relation to the current situation. Probably he is too arrogant to accept any other views in comparison to his personal thoughts and analysis or may be he is too disturbed due to his personal conflict going on with a participant of this forum. (It’s better not to mention any names here)

    I would now request respected Dr. Asrulislam to enlighten me with his comments on SHAHR O RAMADAN which suits the current situation of Pakistan (as per my understanding).
    According to what I have understood so far, we are going through a situation of tyranny, oppression, chaos, bloodshed or war (SHAHAR O RAMADAN) and the only thing which can change our society is by applying SAUM and through “AL-FURQAN” (The criteria of right and wrong). Almost every person in our society (whether literate or illiterate) still believe in a religion based on myths, dogmas and rituals and no one can see beyond the system invented by Mullah.
    Educating masses and creating awareness of true concepts of Quran is the only hope we have and it’s the only possible way to defeat the forces of darkness. I have already shared the concept of SAUM in one of my previous post. Please correct me if I am wrong!

  9. Raheel Zuberi says:

    Dear Brother Asarulislam
    Will you please guide me about the concept of SALAT (usually called NAMAZ) & SOOM (ROZA) because I have some doubts about them or rather say that I’m not satisfied with the definitions as translated in Urdu by so called Ulamas.

  10. Mubashir says:

    @Junaid

    Dear Brother, What you and Dr Shabbir are saying was being expessed by Allama Ghamdi as well. First educate the society then expect results. Teach tolerance, healthy debates and ability to accommodate and discuss controversial views from the school level up. This helps us to learn and grow and accept that for issues in Deen there can be various opinions.

    Problem now in Pakistan is that as soon as you open your mouth and if you are not too careful, if you are seen as pushing for Qur’an alone, you wil be declared a Munkir e Hadees and after that nobody takes you seriously.
    ASARULISLAM’S COMMENT: I would rather face Allah as a proclaimed KAFIR than as a Muslim who endorsed such hadith that Prophet Muhammad was a pedophile, Naozobilla he min zalik.
