  1. Dear CANNON OF THE QURAN,
I humbly suggest that the timing of the event be announced if possible. Will it be audio-video both? Invitations? How is it going on the technical end?
ASARULISLAM’S COMMENT: Salam Allama Dr. Shabbir Sahib. The timings will be the same. It will be video and I am working on Invitation format. CONGRATULATIONS ON VICTORY OF EGYPTIAN YOUTH. ONE DOWN, SEVERAL MORE HUMPTY DUMPTY’S TO GO

    Excellent video!

‘The man who lives in his religious centre of personal energy, and is actuated by spiritual enthusiasms, differs from his previous carnal self in perfectly definite ways. The new ardor which burns in his breast consumes in its glow the lower “noes” which formerly beset him, and keeps him immune against infection from the entire groveling portion of his nature. Magnanimities once impossible are now easy; paltry conventionalities and mean incentives once tyrannical hold no sway. The stone wall inside of him has fallen, the hardness in his heart has broken down. The rest of us can, I think, imagine this by recalling our state of feeling in those temporary “melting moods” into which either the trials of real life, or the theatre, or a novel sometimes throw us. Especially if we weep! For it is then as if our tears broke through an inveterate inner dam, and let all sorts of ancient peccancies and moral stagnancies drain away, leaving us now washed and soft of heart and open to every nobler leading.’

    Dear Brothers/Sisters,
I posted this on my facebook earlier today.
Our hats off to Egyptian youth for accomplishing their goal, i.e. ending 30 years brutal rule of a dictator, in 18 days. We need a similar grassroots movement in Pakistan to get rid of our corrupt politicians as well as terrorist Mullahs and Taliban.

  4. Mubashir says:

    Dear All

What chances are there now for Islamists disguided as moderates to take over? A Jamaat e Islami type regime that we had to deal with in Pakistan during Zia ul Haq days?

  5. Akhtar says:

    @Zubair
The terrorist mulla and Taliban are the figment of the west’s imagination. Unfortunately, we Muslims are so naive that we accept whatever the western media gives to us on a platter.
ASARULISLAM’S COMMENT: Your statement reminds me of Plato’s vision of the world. ” It’s all a figment of our imagination.” No Sir. The Quran regards Haq and Baatil , good and evil as realities.

  6. Irfan says:

Many Islamists like Dr. Javed Jamil of India and Hussain Khan of Tokyo have said “down with Westernism and Up with the Shari’a”

What a wishful thinking from an unthinking mind!!!

The fact is that none of the two recent revolutions was motivated by Islamists. The Tunisians were the real heroes of the big change saga and the Islamic movements—if there were any functioning—were never the prime movers of these historical events. These events were fully supported by the Western powers and that was the right thing to do for them.

If the man-made evil “Shari’a”—that has very little to do with the Qur’an’s impeccable teachings and much to do with the fairy tales—were a factor in this momentous twin struggle, it would have been conspicuous in the wide open scenarios. The Shari’a slogan was nowhere to be heard because its proponents have already lost their credibility—thanks to the rigid, time frozen, stale ideas and visions recently exemplified by the ‘beastly’ class Talibans that people were smart enough to ignore them.

The hypocritical mullah class have stayed behind and always adopted “wait and see” policy in this seminal twin struggle for freedom. Now that the real “man on the street ‘ who was sick and tired of the despotism, poverty, and joblessness decided to lay down his life for a better future, here come the old, rotten frogs like Hussain Khan and many others popping out of the stinking pond, croaking and claiming victory for Islamism and against the West!!!!

The mullah want to the illegitimate usurpers of the booty after the battle.

However, these frogs can only croak for a while before they hop back into the darkness again.

They won’t succeed. Only those will who PARTICIPATED in the worthwhile struggle—the PEOPLE.

Now, if people have made a mistake of not having an alternative, solid and clear leadership—like in the latest two revolutions, and quite unlike the Iranian revolution—it is possible that the Islamists will be able to capitalize and elbow out their way in the crowd. If that happens, people—especially the women folks—will forget the 30-year despotic rule of Mubarak and will be thinking of revolting again—but the time will not be in their favor. Remember: Theocratic oppression—that the West could get rid of only centuries of heavy sacrifices 200 years ago—will have its field time again—this time in the garb of the “Shari’a” Kruger of the Halloween.

I can only hope that does not happen.

The problem with you the half grown twigs, is that u read a small part about Islam and start commenting on like an expert. Sharia was man made you said. What nonsense. Have u read what quaran says about vaious hadoods? tha same were practically done during our Prophet(pbuh) time. Now then which part of sharia are you talking about which are man made? By the way is sharia only about the punishments? Are u aware what sharia is/ or like a crow you started croaking like the goras that you lick their backside. It is not by the mullahs but by the prophet himself. They are neither “stale “ideas and neither time frozen. These are the truth and truth is never time frozen nor it is ever stale. The voices of ur masters that you croak have a social culture that has altered with time. In France there was a time that it was considered uncouth if one were to attend a function with one’s own wife except with a keep. It was a fashion once in the royality of England to have an affair or so but only with a royality so that the illegetimate off springs should be atleast royal. The woman were not allowed to vote nor were they considered part of inhereitence. And now a days you observe unmarried couples and gay priests. Since this is a very recent culture and is not time frozen that you have made a mention of Sharia as such. And what about the UN sponsored woman’s rights that were being discussed a decade or so in which your lovely BB was prepared to take part in. What did this state? That a woman has a right to seek any profession and that includes the rights of prostitution, and that a married woman can adopt the profession and the husband will not be able to file a suit against especially for the dissolution of the marriage.
I am sure that since this is not time frozen u have no objections to this law also.
ASARULISLAM’S COMMENT: ‘Half grown twigs.’ Wow, that indeed is a new one. I think there is confusion in the definition of Shariya in this discussion. But we could be polite to one another, especially if we are ‘full grown twigs,’ with beards on a world mission, not content with terrorizing our wives and daughters but outright hating everything beautiful around us.

What about Shariya’s legalization of sex with domestic servants, 9 year old “slave girls”?

  8. Irfan says:

    Malik,

You asked “Now then which part of sharia are you talking about which are man made?”
Here’s a small list of the man-made and downright evil “Shari’ah” teachings. Let’s talk about them:
    1. The Qur’an says that the punishment for adultery is 100 lashes after confirmation with the four witnesses (24:2). The uniformly agreed upon shari’a prescribes the punishment of stoning to death for adultery if one, or both parties are married while the Qur’an makes no such distintion.
    2. The Qur’an prescribes no punishment for apostasy. However, the man-made Shari’a, as agreed upon by all the five major orthodox schools of thought, prescribes death penalty for apostasy. This punishment violates the Qur’an.
    3. The Qur’an prescribes no punishment for blasphemy in THIS world. However, in the man-made Shari’a, all orthodox evil and murderous forces have unanimously stood behind this barbaric punishment. This punishment is a blatant violation of the Qur’an.
    4. All the inheritance laws—invalidating writing of a genuine will included—are against the fiqh of the Qur’an. Most of these laws are unfair to women and other deserving relatives.
    5. The whole system of Zakaat, namely, 2.5%, is against the Qur’an. The Qur’an commands that anything beyond genuine needs must be given away.
    6. The Shari’a almost mandate shortening of the Prayer under travel with or without the fear of the enemy. This is unQur’anic because the Qur’an is clear that prayer should be shortened during travel when there is a fear for the enemy.
    7. All uprisings and resurgences of masses against Muslim governments—no matter how evil and oppressive they may be—are forbidden in the man-made Shari’a. This has allowed the oppression to continue unabated forever. Look at Egypt today: general masses have risen against the oppression and economic malaise but the Al-Azhar clergy, along with Muhabark has been partaking of the liberal American charity for the last 30 years while the common man on the street has suffered immensely and there has been no future for the new generation.

This list of Qur’anic violations “in the completely agreed upon shari’ah “ is only a tip of the iceberg.

Think about the following: What if Jesus had actually said “My Ummah will never agree on error”! After all, Jesus (pbuh), just like the Last Prophet (pbuh) was a Prophet and Messenger of Allah. Now tell me: What do almost 99% Christians believe? Trinity, right? Do you think their beliefs are correct?

The verse 6:116 clearly says that the majority of the world always remains astray. Same is the case with the Muslims. If their faith/eeman were right, they would have enjoyed honor in THIS world as well in the Next. Just look around: Do you see honor and success for Muslims in this world? In fact, all I see around is shame, helplessness, and humiliation for 1.5 billion strong Ummah.

This humiliation and adhaab on the Muslim Ummah is from Allah alone because they have clearly agreed on ERROR and FALSEHOOD. Their rulers are corrupt, their scholars are corrupt, and their general masses are corrupt….Corruption, dishonesty, and illegal gains are everywhere in the Muslim lands.

    Dear Brother Irfan,

I agree and support your views. However, I would avoid using offensive language. We must adhere to the Quranic Code of Conduct at all times. Please remember that we can only explain our ideas. We cannot force them on others.

CALL (ALL MANKIND) TO THE WAY OF YOUR LORD WITH WISDOM AND BEAUTIFUL EXHORTATION, AND ARGUE WITH THEM IN THE MOST KINDLY MANNER. (16:125)

Even God Almighty did not force people to accept His Message. In fact, people are free to accept or reject The Message. Those who accept God’s Message, help themselves. Those who reject it, harm themselves. People can neither help nor harm God Almighty.

  10. Dr Asar Bhai: beautiful extempore speech inviting pakistanis back to Quran is commendable. Keep up.
